CPAD Distribution

The Cal-Atlas Geospatial Clearinghouse hosts the CPAD data. Users can download the data as an ESRI File Geodatabase (requires ArcGIS 9.2 or higher), or as ESRI shapefiles (one for holdings - 150mb file - and one for units).

The geodatabase files contain all CPAD tables in a single database. They are provided in compressed format and must be uncompressed in ArcCatalog if users wish to edit them.

The CPAD data is provided in Teale Albers (1983).

CPAD data is only available for non-commercial use - that is, it may not be resold or in any way used for commercial production or redistribution, without permission from GreenInfo Network. See the License Agreement before using CPAD.
